Medium: sheet metal, wood, electronic circuitry, ethernet connection (one IP address per piece)



Explanation:
Two stand-alone art objects share mirrored screens, each with one pixel on it. The two pieces are connected to one another through an IP network (the Internet). From the point of view of one participant, you are experiencing some interactive control, and also some emergent animation. One installed piece in one part of the world controls the X position (horizontal movement) of the pixel. The other installed piece in some other part of the world controls the Y position (vertical movement) of the pixel. If this were a gallery piece, the two objects would ideally be installed in two separate rooms, or better yet, two separate galleries.

Status: Installed privately, not premiered.

Dos objetos artísticos comparten pantallas reflejas, cada uno mostrando un solo pixel. Las dos piezas están conectadas a través de una red IP (Internet). Desde el punto de vista de cada participante, experimentamos cierto control interactivo y una animación emergente. Una de las piezas instaladas en cualquier lugar controla la posicion del pixel en el eje X (movimiento horizontal) y la otra pieza controla el eje Y (movimiento vertical). Si esta instalación se exhibiera en una galería, los dos objetos deberían idealmente ubicarse en dos salas separadas, o, si fuera posible, incluso en dos galerías diferentes.
